Rainier Chapter Notes

Hello happy RCSW members!
Let me take a quick moment for an introduction. My name is Karen LaRoche’ and I am the new Rainier Chapter President for the RCSW. I am a graduate of Tacoma Community College, and have been working in our field for the past 22 years. I work full time at Harborview Medical Center, but live in the Spanaway/Graham area with my husband and 2 boys. Please feel free to contact me with any thoughts or suggestions on the direction of our chapter and its activities.
We are working on a couple of events this year:
- The first will be a 1 CEU/social event on Thursday, February 26th at the Narrows Brewing Company.
- I would like to carry on the Journal Club that Michelle Pedicone started and hold at least 2 journal club events this year.
