Earl Moore, RCSW PresidentThis is a great time for us to recommit to our RCSW vision, to our fellow RTs and also to all RT students. I believe success happens when we are clear about our direction, have accurate information and then build and implement our plan. With that being said I would like to share with you the vision and our goals for the RCSW this year.
Our vision is always To Promote the Profession of Respiratory Care.
Our #1 Goal this year is to increase our membership, but we also have a list of other goals for 2015 we want to achieve. Let’s not accept things as they are. Rather, we should ask ourselves how they can be made bigger and better. Share your ideas with others, invent new ones, and expand your influence as a member.
Please keep an eye on this page, the RCSW Facebook page, the RCSW LinkedIn page, and the RCSW LinkedIn discussion group. I invite you all to become involved in your organization, the RCSW. Please feel free to contact me or your chapter presidents any time (contact information is available here).
I hope to see all of you in Seattle this year in April. Look for your chapter presidents this year as they attempt to visit many of the hospitals. I plan to visit all of the colleges this year as well. I did this last year and it was a great time for me to meet all of the students in Washington.
