Calling on all Respiratory Therapists in Washington State!  We have been challenged by the AARC and the COPD Foundation to get at least 467 COPD screeners completed  by November 8th.

The DRIVE4COPD is a public health initiative that aims to raise public awareness of COPD utilizing Respiratory Therapist to interact with the community and survey people 35 years or older.

Please consider adopting a company and utilizing the paper COPD screeners.  Or  provide COPD screeners at a local event.  Please visit the AARC’s website for more information and if you would like some ideas or assistance please call or email Linda Wilson.  Linda can be reached at 206 744-3507 or ldwilson@uw.edu and she would love to hear what you might be planning!

We do have a  tentative date at the Puyallup Fair scheduled for September 12th  (need a few volunteers) , but we need each of you to consider participation in adopting a company or a local event. We can do this but we need to start today!

What is adopt a company about?
